After having a fairly long hiatus from any form of art (about a year digitally and 4 years traditional) I finally decided to jump back into it.
Inspired by The Last Dinner Party lyrics "A sailor and a nightingale dancing on convertibles" this is the first in hopefully many new charcoal pieces.

Some watercolor work! These will be bookmarks. I’m definitely leaning into a little more decorative stuff right now. I don’t know if anyone here has ever heard of the fundraiser “The Project for Awesome” run by the Green brothers, but I contributed some bookmarks like these as an art perk for that.
