Hi everyone! Here is my first submission to HTFYA All of your submissions are so amazing! I love seeing how everyone interpreted the prompt so differently

Reuploading as I'm not sure the first submission went through First post on the forum, entry for Saying Goodbye

Colouring is still quite an endeavour for me! I think it's done... and still with some time left! And it seems I really can't do serious prompts

Question for any watercolor artists: I'm pretty new to the watercolor game, do you folks usually ink AFTER you paint? Or do you ink FIRST and then paint over it?
-
@nohdee Hey thanks! Tried out a quicker style then my usual tiny-brush-rendering-style
-
@Henry-Compton Nice piece! I did read that Peter De Seve first does a pencil-drawing, then paints an undertone (like burnt umber) and then he draws with ink, paints some more, and then draws again with ink. I've got a guide from him that I can send to you if you would like?
-
@Arthur-Campling Wow, that’s such an interesting process, I didn’t expect that. Yea if you sent me that guide, I’d appreciate it a lot!
