Digital portrait 'Just a blond girl' by Leontine

Whohoooo another finished project. Inspired by Loish. Its starting to go better, witch makes me happy and proud of myself! Hard work , trail and error

I LOVE loish's work and I can see some of those style choices here. Your areas of light and dark are gorgeous, and I love the loose quality of your brush strokes. Really stunning.
Also, that transition from sharp focus to softer blur on the top of her hair is a SUPER nice touch. I really love this.

Just beautiful! Loish is amazing, and so is this!
-
@Leontine-Gaasenbeek Very Nice! I wish I could render hair as well.

Whoa @Leontine-Gaasenbeek it is just getting better and better is right! You determination and effort is coming through loud and clear. Beautiful work!

Great work!

Beautiful portrait, your color choices are really nice! I can definitely see the Loish influence, she does amazing work. My suggestion for you is to play around with the size and hardness of your brushes more. Right now the brush strokes are streaky, which can happen by using too small of a brush (I've actually gotten this feedback before and ir helped a lot). Digital can be less forgiving in that aspect than traditional media.

@Shannon-Perkins hi Shannon, i ll try, but i don't like a to shopped effect, i like it when the brushstrokes are a bit rough, dont know if thats what you mean. Ill give your suggestions a go, on the next one, wich is a Brave fanart....

I thinks this is amazing and I like the look of your brush strokes! Can't wait to see your next one!!

@Leontine-Gaasenbeek I love the big eyes and the color palette. Beautiful piece. I can definitely see Loish's influence in this one. I can't wait until her Kickstarter book is finished. It's going to be amazing.
