My first sketch (also my first post in the Forum). Just pencil and ink for now. Any feedback is welcome!

Here is my WIP for the Transportation contest. Been a fan of steampunk for a while, so that is part of my theme with this. The machine is a transporter, and the city is what will show in the transporter's portal (larger circular area). The small thumbnail is where I am at with the composition. And lastly, the character is the scientist who created the machine.
