Slowvember Wip thoughts?
-
So I am going to do a Jack the giant slayer painting in oils... this is my action figures posing for me lol... which pose do you think is the best
-
Number 5 is looks great
-
Since you are trying to portray a giant I would use a lower perspective view I would consider using 2 cropped in tighter so you can't see the feet
-
@jason-bowen I also like number 2 if you are going for the giant feel.
-
Thanks for your thoughts.

Still working on my slowvember, I have given the foreground slayer more of a warrior look, now I need to give the giant two heads and make him look tall. Trying to put in everything I have learnt into this one.

Starting to take shape, trying to hold off on getting the oil paints out too soon... trying to stay strong for slovember.

Hi @Jason-Bowen, cool piece! For me, the trees that are framing it in kind of diminish the size of the giant. It makes it feel more like the warrior is just really little. Maybe the idea is that the trees are really giant as well? If the trees are supposed to be normal sized trees, and you still want to frame the piece in with them, then the giant and warrior would need to be a lot further away. I think there would be a better sense of the giant's hugeness if the trees matched the scale of the warrior...
