Up for a “contest” still?

@fauxtoddgraphy
Great idea! I was actually thinking the same thing.If you want a winner, we could just use the "up-votes" / likes to see which image gets the most votes.
To keep it the same as responses in other contest threads, it'd probably be good to allow voting for as many as you like (rather than trying to tell people to only click the up-vote arrow on the one image they want to pick for a winner--I don't think that would work for several reasons!).
"fauxcontest" Ha, Ha! Love it!

I'd love to participate!

@miriam That's a great idea with the multiple voting up-votes. Honestly I didn't want to be the one to pick a winner! haha
Let the "fauxcontest" begin! -
@fauxtoddgraphy
Seriously, that's probably the worst thing about any contest--having to choose a winner out of so many good things! -
One week left of May, hope to see some entries!

@fauxtoddgraphy
I am working on one. I hope you have one in progress, too! -

@gary-wilkinson Haha, I so love this idea. Execution is terrific, as usual.
-
@fauxtoddgraphy I like that way you think. Funny enough, I've been doing several b/w pieces recently. Thanks for thinking of it.

@fauxtoddgraphy Love this!!

@johanna-kim thanks Johanna. Are we going to see something from you too?
-
-
@gary-wilkinson Yes, but I thought I'd push myself to do a new one. I attended a conference recently where I heard from an art director and literary agent that including a b/w section one your online portfolio is a good thing, particularly if you're interested in illustrated for middle grade books, which I am.

Update I was able to finish inking it, so here's the final version.
If anyone is interested, you can see my WIP here: http://forum.svslearn.com/topic/5913/may-fauxcontest-wip-critiques-welcome. I feel like I've grown a lot with this one!
Thanks again to @jon-anderson & @gary-wilkinson for your helpful critiques!
