SVS Does Inktober Part 3, Days 21 - 31
-
In the spirit of keeping things manageable, I've gone ahead and added part 3 of the Inktober Thread that will take us through to the end.
(If someone started another one somewhere else, let me know, I didn't see it)
Here's my day 21: Drain

Please forgive my perspective issues. Thanks #inktober #inktober2018 Day 21 Drain

Day 21 Drain. Mwahahaha!
-
@chrisaakins Great take on the prompt!
-
@eli haha! I am glad someone appreciates my humor!
-
I didn't realize people were posting their inktober work on here as well! What a great idea, there is so much talent on here. This was mine for todays prompt Day 21 - Drain
-
@robgale This is so cute!
-
Day 21: Drain (Monster)
The hair decided to come back...
-
This is my work for day 21: Drain. I tried sticking to the theme of kids/family all month to get better at the subject matter and with the exception of the chicken prompt I've done that. Yay! And there is definitely improvement over previous years. Double yay! And you guys have put out some amazing work. High fives for everyone of you!
-
@k-flagg Thanks! I love your sea creatures Drain painting!
-
Day 22 Expensive. Both the braces and the teenagers who wear them.
-
#inktober #inktober2018 Day 22 Expensive
-
@chrisaakins I had braces 3 separate times. The last time the dentist paid for it. I was in more shock and pain with the 3rd time than having my wisdom teeth removed.
-
@heather-boyd I paid for the orthodontist's son's first year or two at Auburn after paying for my four kids' braces.
-
Day 21 Drain; watch out birdie!!
-
@missmushy Awww I hope the birdie gets free in time!! I love your style on this one!!
-
@eli Thanks! been trying out different things
-
Day 22: Expensive
Diamond girl, expensive genetics...
This took a lot longer to make than I had originally planned for! Hope you guys like it
-
Days 21 & 22 of my memories of Thomas

This is my ink and watercolor wash for "expensive." It's a true story, unfortunately. (@burvantill I too, have a paper shredder at home who doesn't always ask first.) I didn't love the way it turned out so I did a regular painting digitally with Procreate which I personally like better but I'd be curious to know whether you also think the digital version works better as a piece than the line and wash.
