@art-of-b This is off topic for this thread, but I wanted to tell you that I checked out your comic the other night, got totally sucked in, and got nothing done for the rest of the evening. It's great--good art and writing, compelling plot. Love it.

Days 23-25.
These were tough. I caught a cold on my vacation and my lack of energy made plowing through quite difficult. But I persevered! I will finish inktober!For those of you who are slowing down; we only have SIX days left. Easy peasy, we can do it! Ink ink INK!!!

@demotlj i love the watercolor piece better. The hatching and the textures just gives it an extra level of chracter.

I’m a little behind but here is my line and wash for “muddy.” There was supposed to be more mud in the swamp but I ended up with more brown than I intended in the background so I de-emphasized the mud. No undo with watercolor

I really like your "muddy" piece. I could tell it was your work even before looking at the name of who posted it! Your style with nature scenes is distinct and, in my opinion, lovely.

@chrisaakins @demotlj Thanks you guys! It's so nice to hear. So far, I think the biggest lesson has been don't rush! It's hard when you are trying to do one each day, but I have felt more satisfied with the ones I've spent more time on. Maybe that sounds obvious, but you know, the obvious often eludes.
