Last week I did a watercolor of a polar bear roasting a marshmallow over a campfire and thought it would be a good exercise to also render it digitally. I use Sketchbook Pro most of the time, as I find its interface to be really intuitive to work with.

This looks great, I really like the rendering and texturing you've done on the digital piece, he's such a cute character! Would love to see him in a bit of a background or sitting on some snow or something 🙂

Great work on the bear! It looks so cute. My one issue is with the smoke. Perhaps you can tone down the black a little or not have it all together. The fire is already looking great.

You've done an excellent job! The shading is awesome, and the fire has a lot more "personality". I agree with both the previous comments--there's something charmingly forlorn about the bear when he's in the environment rendered in watercolor that is missing in the digital version. I think you might be able to have a lot of fun creating it!
