FEBRUARY CONTEST PROMPT "LOVE"

I LOVE everyone's "Love" entries! So much humor and talent. This is my first ever contest entry.
I'm a greeting card artist by trade, and I use old-fashioned things like paper. So my goal for this submission was to just learn how to submit! I didn't have access to a scanner so I took a photograph of the drawing on paper and used GIMP to sorta make the white areas not-grey. This is totally different from the kind of art I usually do, but I got sick this month and couldn't begin working on my first idea (which would've been time-consuming) - so I came up with a new idea and had fun with it. "Finished, Not Perfect," right?

Eleventh hour entry... Cinderella (not the dress part of the story--although that would be really, really fun to draw, but the moment when the prince realizes he's just as excited to see the cinder girl as he is the princess).

I'm probably past the deadline but I wasn't going to post this at all, my first finished photoshop painting, nothing great but then I remembered the "FINISHED NOT PERFECT" slogan this morning and thought I'd post even if I'm too late
The contest really pushed me to keep going and keep learning so I'll do the same again this month for March!

WOW everyone! Tons of submissions this month. It is probably one of highest submission amounts. I am working on resizing them all and getting the slideshow put together, stay tuned later this afternoon for the slideshow!
