30 Day challenge - monsters, robots and aliens
-
Day010. I like these watercolour brushes. They layer really well. -
@Judy-Elizabeth-Wilson seriuosly, these backgrounds need to be on kids backpacks. Call jansport or something. I would buy these all day long! Monsters are adorable as well. Iβm just in a fabric design mode these days. Matching leggings with the monster shirt. That would be freaking adorable! Or pjs with the monster on the shirt and the print bottoms.
-
@Whitney-Simms you always have the best ideas on how to market peoples art.
-
@Chip-Valecek in my next life Iβm coming back as an art agent. I think itβs cause I shop a lot.
-
@Chip-Valecek @Whitney-Simms I agree Chip, Whitney is spot on and I will certainly work on the licensing idea. It would be amazing to have these designs on products!
-
Day011 I love his goofy tooth. -
These are adorable! Super cute idea, who says monsters have to be scary looking with dark colors. I love your approach.
-
Day012
Looking forward to catch up a few missed days this weekend. -
Day013. monster -
wow, I LOVE these! love the colors and the textures and the fun!
-
Day014 This has been a good learning curve so far. -
my favorites are when the monsters/robots/aliens are different colors then the background. I feel they pop so much more. Great collection you have going here.
-
These are adorable. I love the messy scribble quality they all have... and that the last one looks a lot like one of those rainbow pencils.
-
Day015. I love the curly swirls under his eyes. -
Day016. Somewhere in Space... -
@Jessica-Jolicoeur Thanks Jessica. I agree, cute monsters can convey all sorts of ideas in storytelling.
-
@Coley Thanks Coley. That's really cool, glad to be on the right track!
-
@Chip-Valecek Thanks Chip. Yes, I agree with you there, the contrast in colour does make the characters pop. Good discovery. Will keep that in mind with the next ones.
-
@azupcsan Thanks. Being more messy and scribbly is exactly what this 30 drawings project was for really. I was using the same brushes for everything and as I went digital last year I thought something like this would help me break the bad habit and be more adventurous. It's been good so far.

Ugh Judy, I love all of these so much. You could sell the heck out of them. Print them on everything!
