Painting Color & Light 2.0 Assignments

Hi Everyone, I just finished the newest course release "Painting Colour & Light 2.0" and will be posting some of my homework assignments here. If anyone else is taking the course and wants to share their work and swap advice and feedback, please feel free!

*I struggle with cast shadows (both shape and position), I would love some feedback on those if anyone has input

On camera hidden is that light under the stairs in only one direction - I feel maybe a little glow in the back.

On camera one the light may shift the stair shadows more diagonal to the left or to us if that makes sense. The shadow also looks like it’s in front of the stairs, which is odd.

But yes I think it looks good and it just dawned on me to do these worksheets digitally.

I haven’t done the class yet. I have a master copy composition and the lizard down the tree composition work to complete by the end of the month.

@Heather-Boyd Yes, they are definitely fun! Also, I have not forgot about the colour exercise you posted, I just got got excited about this class and got sidetracked

All good no worries. I haven't gotten back to them either not until I finished the composition class.

@inkandspatter oh this looks like fun. I think just a bit over my head yet--but as I love color and want to understand it better, I may try to do it later this year.
