This is a great idea. I always enjoy checking out the winners of these contests but a video critique, especially with draw overs would be next level and much more enjoyable and informative. Looking forward to next month!

@Lee-White Hi! This sounds awesome. However, can those who are not currently enrolled like myself still be able to watch the critique? Like on youtube or something? I am planning to subscribe soon though once i’ve resolved my present commitments.

We have a ton of new things planned (including a whole children's book series of classes!). As a subscriber you can enter the contests and see the crits. You also get access to almost 100 videos! We are a school first and foremost and we really want to make our students happy first. That means giving them access to exclusive content and benefits that aren't available anywhere else. Hey, wanted to mention that in addition to the stuff I wrote above, there is going to be a new subscriber area here on the forums! It's going to have demos and all kinds of stuff. It will contain extras to our video classes such as new assignments, drawing challenges, crits, and other goodies. Maybe even discounts on software and hardware!!!

@Lee-White OMG that sounds wonderful! Very excited to hear about all the extras, that sounds like just what I need to help me figure out how to proceed. Sometimes I feel like I'm just swimming around randomly in a very big lake, and not actually reaching a destination. So happy to continue as a subscriber!

@Lee-White I’m excited about the new content and added content for subscribers. I appreciate that not everyone financial situations or priorities (or the same for personal time and commitments) get in the way of subscribing. However after looking around for something as deep pointe at comics as SVS is toward illustration made me really appreciate the value SVS provides for the price. And you let new folks try it out for free for a short period of time so people can check it out.
