question regarding physical portfolios
-
Thanks @Heather-Bouteneff and @Kevin-Longueil
After some research, I think I'm going to make my own as I have most of the materials kickin' around

@Braden-Hallett mounting work on foam board makes it look pretty cool and not cost a fortune. Also it gives it a bit of longevity.
-
@sigross sadly, gotta be a 9x12 book
-
@Braden-Hallett So are you binding it into a book?
-
@sigross Correct, yiss.

-
@Braden-Hallett brilliant that looks like a boss portfolio. Top tips.

@Braden-Hallett I was going to make mine like this as well (Pinterest rocks) but then I saw @smceccarelli portfolio and hers has sheet protectors for her pages. So I bought some today and they might not work with this same post hole design. Not enough space between the holes and the paper for the bend in the cover. Iām brainstorming new options as I type this. My first personal portfolio critique on my digital portfolio is tomorrow, morning
so I will start building the physical portfolio after that.

@burvantill interestingly enough, I though I needed sheet protectors, too! But the people in my local SCBWI all have their art without. They seem to think the glare from the plastic can tweak the art. I may try both!

@Braden-Hallett Hmm. Good point. That can be very annoying. The last thing we want to do is annoy potential future bosses.
