iPad Pro 12.9 inch case recommendations?
-
Hey gang, My iPad Pro showed up yesterday
I forgot all about getting a case to protect it and wondered if anyone has anything they like or dislike?
I’m thinking I’ll maybe need something with a stand. I plan on using it primarily at home but occasionally take it out with me .
I’d highly appreciate a recommendation !
Thanks -
@Coley I got one like this and am really happy with it. The biggest thing for me was keeping the pencil safe and attached to the side when taking it out and about in my bag. It just magnets onto the side and could get knocked off easily without the case.

I got one similar to this https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07KF3S4NJ/ref=psdc_1499996031_t1_B07MKFNJ1D and have to say I wish I got one like @neschof
It is fine and does the job, but there is nothing to hold the pencil securely. If I take my iPad out of my house I always put it in an additional pouch so that I don't loose the apple pencil. -
@Coley my Ipad is already 2 years old. It doesn’t have a stand or s screen protector. I like to think of myself a dardevil. Lol! My money ran out when I bought the ipad pro. I told myself I’ll just buy the case and screen protector when I’ve saved up enough money. I never did. That’s why to this day my ipad is still naked.

@Nyrryl-Cadiz ha ha you live life on the edge for sure! I have kids and a tile floor so I'm terrified of it being smashed. Wouldn't be the first thing to get smashed!

I use a nice non-descript case. I don't like the feel of the massive military otter box kinda things. Just something that's enough to get a grip on the slippy bloody thing, lol.

However, the thing that REALLY made drawing on the ipad easier was these 'paper' screen protectors. Makes the feel of the stylus on the screen much MUCH nicer.

This is the case I use.

Because the display that holds the iPad itself can rotate around, I wedge a piece of upholstery foam or half a pool noodle behind it to prop it up as a drawing surface.

@Coley I Love this case (just bought a second one)

Thanks everyone! I'll have to look at them a little closer and figure it out. It's awesome to know what people use so THANK YOU

You guys rock. I wanted to ask this a few weeks ago, but I just bought one first. Don’t like it. Now i want to get one that works. I have one of those that has the slotted covers. It fold I to a triangle to pro up the screen. It stinks though. The iPad Pro is too big for that type of engineering

@Whitney-Simms what brand and model is it? I want to know what to avoid too
Really it's pretty important if it's something one is going to use a lot! -
@Kevin-Longueil I just looked at reviews, this looks awesome. Hefty price tag but very likely worth it! Now I just gotta break the news to hubby lol!!!!
btw I LOVED your January piece! so much! -
@Coley Thank you so much! I thought your piece was awesome too! I was not brave enough to add falling snow to my piece - yours looked so good!! I think you will really like the Zugu case it if you decide to go with it

I got one of these trifold flappy things. Don’t know the brand
-
@Whitney-Simms oooh looks nice!

@Coley it’s pretty. Blush gold is a nice color. Ha! Just doesn’t hold the case upright very well. And I wish the pencil was in a safer place.
