@burvantill I once sent a portfolio to an agency addressed to another agency and they were savage about it! They immediately replied and made sure to let me know they were tossing out my application because of my mistake. For months this was the only reply I had from the whole posting as none of the other agencies replied. This was devastating! But these things happen

Update: Well, I got my first rejection letter. They said it was not a good fit for them right now. I guess I will try some more publishers..
