MAY CONTEST: ISOLATION
-
This months contest prompt comes from @Lee-White
Isolation
This should be a good one. How is everyone handling the current stay of the world? What does Isolation mean to you?
Here are some more details:
The contest is open to anyone. But the winners and runners up will only be selected from active SVS members.
Post only finished pieces here. Post WIP projects in their own thread.
Put your real name and forum name on the image somewhere (can be on a border if you like).
Good luck everyone!

Oh, man. Too real.
-
Don't forget, Isolation is a term that can be negative, neutral, or actually positive depending on the situation. Some people hate being alone, while others may be relishing it. So use your brainstorming skillz! : )
-
I think I might sit this one out. I don't need to spend any more time thinking about isolation than I already have - positive or not.
-
I think I did 2-3 pieces on this prompt in March. Now I think I need do a piece for "isolation" that is NOT a reference to the current event.
-
Hope you enjoy!

Hi everyone,
I hope your all doing well and enjoying your weekend so far.
Here is my entry for the May Contest: Isolation.
Please let me know what you think
Thank you! -
@Christina-Ogbotiti this is very eye pleasing and unexpected style wise really love the shapes in the plant life.
-
Loving the different interpretations so far! I can tell this will be a good month.
Here's my submission for "Isolation". I wanted to take a stab at a more light-hearted approach. From @Lee-White 's note expanding the idea of isolation, I wanted to show the social distancing side of isolation in a fun way that could help explain the situation to kids. So, everyone gets their own spot on the ice! Natural limits explain the isolation (hopefully ) -
@Ryan-Ehr This is so adorable! I love the teeny tiny ice blocks with the baby penguins! Hahah, great job!
-
@Christina-Ogbotiti gorgeous!
-
@aprilshin Thanks! It was fun to try more of a collage of characters.
-
@Ryan-Ehr omg this is SO CUTE AND SO FUN !
-
@Coley Thanks! It was fun trying to figure out their activities

@Christina-Ogbotiti Something about this reminds me of the game Broken Age from Double Fine. ( A beautiful game) It has a great character to it.
