I live in the strange little pocket of the interior that should be getting little to no rain. We have cactuses (little ones, but still). Rain is strange and frightening! It's all... wet. Ick.

hey! i'm new to these forums! hello! i've been messing around with some textured brushes the last few days -- i've never felt like i've had a "style", so i'm trying to figure it out.

I, like others, have been struggling with a loss of creative juice so I have been mostly painting watercolors of birds but today I went more cartoony. Anything to try to get back into the swing of things. (They are rose-breasted grosbeaks.)

@hannahmarie Thanks so much! This was a standalone piece, at least for now. Who knows! I was approached by an editor, she asked me if this was a standalone piece as well. I'd have to come up with a story around it maybe
