Inktober Day Fourteen - Armor
Ultimately, I was deciding between a robot with massive shoulder pads, or an anthropomorphic animal wearing armor.
I settled on the animal, drawing a couple of storks.
I didn't esactly paln out the architecture in my under-drawing, so that was a bit challenging to draw (same with the water), but overall, I'm pleased with what I got!
I decided on a seashell motif for the guard's armor, and took inspiration from a spear and harpoon for his weapon.
The helmet is a combination of Roman, Spartan, and Gondor (from the Lord of the Rings movies) designs. -
