This is one I did yesterday. Kinda reflected my mood - just bleh lol. I was just trying to do some loose stuff - no process, no sketches, just paint strokes and here's what we ended up with.

Here is my first attempt for mermay. Never tryed drawing mermaids before, so this was a bit of a challenge but it is good to push out of your comfort zone, learned a lot in the process.

A cosy underwater reading nook. I did this illustration for Deaf Awareness Week May 3-9 and some characters have cochlear implants. My niece has cochlear implants and likes to see children's illustrations with children that look like her.

My first mermay drawing. It was for May the 4th, so I used the chance to sneak in some star wars stuff (it's a lightsaber she's grasping at - I'm not sure how obvious that is). I have been doing the Painting Color and Light course, so I wanted to experiment with some interesting lighting. I intentionally kept the rest of the image very simple.
