@chrisaakins Thanks! Oils are something I would love to try at some point just as soon as I finish all the House Work we're doing! LOL.

Exploring diversity in my characters

Just a little humor to end the day...
I am reading up on how to do kickstarters and I was just looking at one that Jake Parker did. This is the last paragraph in his description,
“We would love to get this book out quickly to all our backers! However, in light of previous problems in the shipping department, I feel it necessary to make a few things clear. If you move to a new address in between the time we collect your information and the time we ship your book, please leave a forwarding address with your local post office. If you break up with your girlfriend, and you think there's a chance she may steal all your mail, please consider having it shipped to a safer address. If you're not quite sure what your address is, please don't guess. We cannot be responsible for your change of address, your angry roommates, or your own mental shortcomings. Thank you for your support!”
Freaking hilarious. That is all. Good night. =)x

@burvantill HAHAHA!
-
Almost done here (about time) just need to drop som shadows
-
@burvantill Very funny- thanks for sharing.
-
@Asyas_illos Very nice work, I am toying with a second treehouse piece. I have used my drawing from the first set of sketches and stuck him up a tree. But I think I need some small characters too to make it work.
-
@Asyas_illos I think you could consider cropping this image from the left so everything isn't down the centre line?
-
@PenAndrew thanks for the feedback I’ll look into moving The characters around first before I do any cropping
-
I’m really digging the loose scribble characters right now, so I’ve done a bunch more!
-
@AngelinaKizz I love these! Keep up the great work
-
The Penguin -
@AngelinaKizz ugh! These are so good!
-
@kylebeaudette Noooooooo! I used to be so freaked out and disgusted by this guy!
-
@kylebeaudette he’ll probably turn up in my dreams tonite. Thanks. Thanks for that.
-
I want to share this spread from a book I wrote and am currently working on the thumbnail sketches. I love this one so much I probably won’t alter it too much
-
@Asyas_illos Yes, I am sorry I probably should not have jumped in and I should have waited to give you feedback after it was requested. I am getting too into this interaction with other illustrators. Ha ha. Did you submit the squirrel treehouse? I am submitting my 2 later, as I am 12 hours ahead of America.
-
@Asyas_illos Yes, I can't wait to see more. What I like about your style is that it is a digital style that has all the right elements to make it visually interesting, characters, story, texture and action. I am interested to see what work you did in the past before digital and how much your work has evolved through Procreate.
-
@PenAndrew before digital I painted with acrylics. But I never really did anything with my art, I've always had a very cartoony style so galleries wasn’t a good fit and I never knew where I fit in until I started having kids. Then it just clicked. I fought it for a while, was totally anti digital lol I thought is was like cheating
️ But then I tried it and… haven’t looked back. Hahaha! Going digital has increased my speed and productivity tenfold! My style has really changed as well I used to be very painterly lots of brush strokes.
