@Mia-Clarke I got about four rejections this past month from people I didn’t even remember querying lol, we gotta just keep moving forward and putting ourselves out there. It’ll happen someday when we least expect it. Love the bear ballerina. I always just assume it’s a no so I’m never really that disappointed.

@Asyas_illos Thank you for sharing, Asya, it means a lot. I think I've been feeling like I'm the only one getting rejected, and it's been getting to me lately. I'll try to adopt your way of assuming it's a no from jump, hopefully that'll make the nos easier when they come in.

Thank you @Mia-Clarke! Means a lot, but I take it as I sign that I’m not ready or that I just haven’t found an agent which resonates with my work.
If you build it, they will come, lol.

@Mia-Clarke Put up a countdown of at least 50 markers to check off for each rejection. Don't allow yourself to get blue until after you've received at least 50. I would recommend 100 just to keep yourself sane. Lol
Then buckle down and work harder.

It’s hard though to not take it personal, but probably better to pool the heartache into every 50 rejections rather than to go through an artistic crisis every time someone says no.

I have completed my comic!!!! Here is the art for the cover (sans type).
I am building a new website layout that will handle comics. When that is up and running I will share the link and you can all go check it out (if you like).
I just want to remind everyone that this comic was the one that I had planned to complete for Folktale week 2021! I realized before the week had started that there was no way I was going to finish this in a week and have it be anywhere near good. So I stopped, re-planned and worked bit by bit in my spare time (after day job and caring for family). Here I am 1 year later with something that I am so proud of. I can't wait to show it off, but I'm gonna because I want to make sure I'm doing it justice.
