I’m working on a cut-paper/stamped/hand painted greeting card that has now been a two year work-in-progress. Eventually, I’ll finish about 140 of them. I hope. Will probably come with instructions because I don’t want people to tear the butterfly.

Hiya gang! This is the first month of my webcomic focused trimester so ill be back to everything layout, action lines, inking and so.
The goal is to share a bit of joy while also getting better at my digital drawing for my illustrated novel projects

@Yiming-Wu Thank you! I designed the pieces on my iPad and cut them out using a Cricut machine. Then I painted or stamped the final details.

@Sarah-VanDam So so cool! I have an old Cricut calling me to figure out. My sister gave it to me I love paper cut stuff!! Just watched the second 3PP interview with Samantha Cotterill, I love the way Will describes how you can really use light to your advantage with cut paper illustrations.

I'm currently early days working on a book with a friend! This is one of the concepts I sent him to get the ball rolling. Procreate and Maxpacks FTW.

Been working on the SVS prompt Living Underwater. Combined it with MerMay, two birds, one stone sort of deal.

Anywho, still a WIP on the character explorations, and this is the direction I am taking it. After getting these characters finished here, I'll be doing some more thumbnails for the scene I want them in. Then I will dive headlong into illustrating that piece for the HTFYA stuff.

Just thought I would share it here, but you can also check out my sketch thread to get a little insight into my thought processes for creating my illustrations.
