Thanks for the comments guys! I liked the bird one too - wasn’t sure if circles without stumps would read as mushrooms. Might try varying angles on some maybe.
Continuing to push through on more thumbnails although I feel as if I keep repeating myself. Started playing with the mushrooms as the characters - 28 done 22 more to go!
Things I am learning - prefer doing these with paper and pencil vs digital - brain feels more engaged with feel of ‘real’ materials - probably some childhood thing.

Great thumbnailing! When you narrow it down to the one you want to do, I'd encourage you to do thumbnails with a bunch of value variations.
