nasvikdraws - Inktober 2018 - The Adventures of Dad-dad
-
Day 18 - Bottle
Dads will be dads.....
-
Day 19 - Scorched
I am still a panting herder dog behind the rest of the Inktober challengers
Such a fun month
-
@nasvikdraws hahahahaa literal face hugger! Aww... so cute. I love how you drew Ripley.
-
@nyrrylcadiz thanks. I was going back and forth between drawing her from Alien or Aliens. In Aliens she is more badass but you don't have Jonesy there.
-
@nasvikdraws Hilarious!
These are all great! -
@burvantill thank you
-
Day 20 - Breakable
No chance I am going to finish by the 31st. Not sure if that disqualifies me but I'll keep doing it afterwards. Lol -
@nasvikdraws We don't care when you finish--Just please keep drawing these!!
-
@nasvikdraws And can you please make a book out of it? Pleeease..
-
I love to read comic strips but yourβs blow away 99% of the syndicated strips out there today. They are not only well drawn but consistently entertaining which is really rare. Are you considering doing this professionally?
-
@Eli I'll finish. Getting closer to the finish line day by day;)
@Pilonya I have never done a book and eager to do one. This might be it. Very limited edition
. I might need help from you guys on how to do it.
@demotlj Thank you very much for the kind words. I am rigorously thinking through each strip and keep forming until I feel it works. I am really happy that you guys like it because this gives me reason to continue. I loved Garfield and Calving & Hobbes when I was a kid but never thought I would do strips professionally. Until now.....Lol. We'll see.

Day 21 - Drain
Being present in the best part of parenting. You can drain your brain with your phone when they are asleep -
@nasvikdraws hi! Itβs totally ok if you donβt finish on time. Just please complete the challenge. Itβs so much fun to read Dad-dadβs adventure.
-
@nasvikdraws These are all so so great!! Love the perspective of adventures of dad-dad. Really enjoying these.
-
I have enjoyed these immensely as a dad and as a new grandpa watching my son be a parent of a new baby. You are really resonating with parents, I think. This could totally make a great comic strip for the newspapers or as a book. You should get with @Art-of-B to see how to make a regular webcomic. His stuff is great, too.
-
@nyrrylcadiz Thank you. Getting closer to the finish line day by day. Please cross those fingers
@artwithashley Thank you! Glad you enjoy them. Always trying to find an interesting perspective.
@chrisaakins Thank you for the kind words. I am looking forward to being a grandpa, it must be great. I alway imagine it is more fun than being a dad. Once finished I'll put together a book and keep you posted guys. I'll reach out to @Art-of-B. Thanks for the idea. His stuff is superb.

Day 22 - Expensive
I am not 100% satisfied with the result but "finish not perfect", right?
The WTP joke at the end was not intentional at all. I finished the piece and realized it. I laughed like it was not done by me. -
@nasvikdraws the goodbye door slam is sooo true!
-
Day 23 - Muddy
Congrats to all of you who participated in Inktober this year. I am still posting. Hope you guys don't mind as it is November -
@nasvikdraws Not at all! Ive said this before, I love your comics. They're all so relatable to all parents out there
