This is fanart of another artist, @pants on twitter -
@burvantill yes. Three kids of paint with actual gold flakes in it. Looks so cool in person.
-
@chrisaakins I wish cameras could capture that. I’ll bet it looks great.
-
Love seeing everyone's work!
I'm working on a book based on these characters.

Hello SVs friends, if you come to my desk, I'm experimenting with acrylic technique on my sketchbook...
-
@Lucelfo What type of paper sketchbook do you use because I have always found I needed to use a more firm surface for my acrylic? I am super excited to see you use acrylic in a sketchbook.
-
@Heather-Boyd Hi Heahter ! oh yes I do and this sketchbook takes much more paint than I put on ...it 's ZETA line from stillman and birn I believe... I love it! the paper has a layer of primer on it I think, as it s for mixed media!
-
@Lucelfo The colors on your picture is great, and I love the frog's bright and happy face. Thanks for sharing!
-
@avfarrar thank you! I love the idea of an imaginary walk through our desks, it reminds me of uni..I learnt so much in those walks!
-
@JennyJones Sure! thank you!
-
@demotlj Thank you Laurie!

I've done about 100 thumbnails over the last week for a class I'm taking with smart school. Here are some slightly refined ones.
One assignment is a slightly fantastical portrait so I'm using my bf as a model with his dogs and maybe a bow as a DnD style ranger updated to modern day. Maybe a hoodie instead of cloak. The second ones are from a creepy Neil Gaiman story "Snow Apple Glass" -
Daily character prompt: "Fashionista"
-
Back to playing with characters and expressions for a bit . ‘New puppy - Who dis?’ Remembering my rather opinionated kitty, Lewis, who never seemed to embrace change. Wondering if the pup’s tail is reading as .... umm er ... appropriate? ️
-
@artwithashley Color palette is fantastic!!
-
I'm currently making an illustration for the loading screen leading into the weigh-in for my bass fishing game.
-
For my next illustration, I need to paint a butterfly flying quickly. This is a watercolor study I did for it but I’m not sure yet whether to use stronger line on the contours.
-
A DND Kenku Bard. I think I've finally tweaked my 'pencil' brush to start to work with my inking style.
