My favorite piece of the year is the one on the left (I am still struggling with the scanned version, because the colors are off... I am much more proud of the real one :)), while this month I am working on a few finished illustrations that I am uploading on Society 6. It's a total experiment and I don't know where it will take me, but I am having fun with it!

@Chip-Valecek I love your new pieces. Are you enjoying working in this style though? I know your work had a lot of heavy outlines in the past. Have you tried some thin outlines? Great piece!!

@josegalue25 thank you!! That's what I've been working on recently. I watched Lee's you tube video on texture and got some better brushes. It's really helped.

I’ve been so busy this month that I haven’t been very active on the forum and feel like I missed a lot. There’s some great work on this thread. Here is a sketch I did for a potential entry to the December contest but I don’t honestly know if I’ll have time to ink and paint it. (This is in Procreate but I’d like to do it traditionally.) We’ll see if it ever gets any farther than this!

I don't know which my favorite piece of 2019 is, because I'm just working hard to get faster (and better), but here's my December piece. It's things that could happen when kids put on a Christmas pageant, and I finished it just in time because I have to get on a plane tomorrow morning! Happy holidays everyone!
