I try to draw a Krampus every holiday season since my old Austrian piano teacher taught me about him when I was around 8 years old. Naughty children getting stuffed into burlap sacks and beaten with broom handles made total sense to me at the time. Not so much my classmates,
"I was gonna carry you off to the underworld for what you did to Billy, Becky, but this tea is amazing!"

I forgot to explain: I chose this composition/media for my friend's gift (instead of paper or a full scene) because I'm trying to gain skills that will help me improve my products. Drafting film is difficult but it will allow me to do non-digital and digital hybrid illustrations in a way previously out of reach to me, such as more detail on animal characters, smoother skies, layers of film on top of paper for 3D effect, etc. I'm just at the beginning of the learning curve
Next I have compositions planned using drafting film for character drawings placed on a paper background...we shall see haha -
The holidays had me stressed out so have retreated to the Procreate symmetry tool for a few days. Think I’ll complete the set although challenge has been to keep them consistent looking
