Hey there!
wanted to share this illustration I did for the prompt "home" for inktober52
I was inspired by the simplicity of landscapes in the Miyazaki films and didn't think about trying to replicate it but instead just tried to keep the feeling I get when I watch these films -
@krish-iyer I really like this! Simple, yet beautiful!
-
Doodlin' along learning all kinds of cool things about clip studio.

Parent and child, going through a rough neighborhood.
Traced the buildings in the background from a great artist named 'mateusz urbanowicz', and then altered them to make them fit the drawing. I often trace real world photos and then alter that for backgrounds, but here I found these cool drawings and stole their shape. Wrong? Yep. Gotta learn backgrounds -
@azupcsan love!
-
phew! I was finally able to finish some work I began forever ago when I was rereading Harry Potter for the 4th time.
and I began working on another piece that I begun even before that
-
@Jacy13 thanks so much!
-
@Georgios-Christopoulos love the way this style looks!
it immediately reminded me of dungeons and dragons! -
@Braden-Hallett Genuinely curious, how can you draw so much? I could only do probably 2-3 pieces a month before burning out hahaha.
-
@donnamakesart I probably only do 2-3 finished pieces a month, too. If it weren't for the SVS contest I'd do even less, lol.

Other than my Yeti House and a dummy book Iβm trying to drag myself through, I havenβt worked on much yet this year. Here is my submission for SCBWI Draw this prompt luminous.
-
@Braden-Hallett Love this!
-
@xin-li This is really beautiful! And a great idea, I have so much art supplies growing old and unused. I should follow your lead.
-
@Gabby-Correia Love the face on your mountain!
-
@kylebeaudette This is so cool!
-
I have tried painting on wooden canvas
-
@Coreyartus Really Beautiful dove and polar bear!
-
Was inspired by @davidhohn and his leap (jump?) into the studio session and decided to play around with some graphite texture!
I can't quite replicate what he does with photoshop in clip studio (well, I CAN but it's irritating) but I think they look pretty cool in application using the texture combine command
