Happy October everyone! Here’s what I’ve been working on for the last few weeks, an aerial view of a city. You can see process videos on my Instagram below. I’ll hopefully also be posting some time lapse videos as I ink it.

My first, of hopefully many, fall/halloween projects. I rushed to get this one done this morning so I can get started on Inktober.

Finished my last bird illustration for a while last night on my livestream. Weekend project is to print these out in their greeting card formats, take some product shots, and get them posted on my Etsy shop. Then I turn my attention toward writing and developing a "story calendar" idea I have. We'll see how it goes.

Getting warmed up for Inktober!

Inked this during the group chat with Pentel brush pen. Enjoyed seeing some of the team on Zoom and chatting with everyone!

Been trying to figure out what to do for inktober. Started experimenting with some of these types of quick characters in the morning and thought maybe to do a bunch of different characters that all interacted with each other. But I go on vacation tomorrow so I'm honestly not sure what I'll do while I'm away. I might just do a bunch of stuff on the iPad and then do traditional when I get back.

I hadn't made a finished drawing in months until today and Inktober definitely played a part in motivating me. Love seeing what everyone's working on!

Scaled the background down to emphasize the size difference to the foreground and it looked sooo much better may go back to this one cuz I’m still not satisfied
