@Asyas_illos Yes, I can't wait to see more. What I like about your style is that it is a digital style that has all the right elements to make it visually interesting, characters, story, texture and action. I am interested to see what work you did in the past before digital and how much your work has evolved through Procreate.

@PenAndrew before digital I painted with acrylics. But I never really did anything with my art, I've always had a very cartoony style so galleries wasn’t a good fit and I never knew where I fit in until I started having kids. Then it just clicked. I fought it for a while, was totally anti digital lol I thought is was like cheating 🤦🏻‍♀️ But then I tried it and… haven’t looked back. Hahaha! Going digital has increased my speed and productivity tenfold! My style has really changed as well I used to be very painterly lots of brush strokes.

I am probably moving to fast through my sketches but I am so passionate about this project I can’t help it!

@Asyas_illos I like that point of view on page 2! Can't wait to see this whole dummy you've started.

@Kristen-Lango thank you I was watching Lee’s visual storytelling course and there’s a bit about unique povs and pulling the viewer in to be apart of the story sort of. And yes I’m super excited for my book!

@donnamakesart I don't know why but it's not letting me "like"/"upvote" your post. I like it.
I like both. I think B does tell the story better.

What a fun idea, and a cute map. If I was nearby, I'd want to check out your favorites, but I'm on the other side of the country!

Good idea. I should try doing this.

@donnamakesart I think B focuses on the characters while A focuses on the setting, so I would choose B

@Asyas_illos Yes, I would like to speed up the process or rather I want to eliminate all the procrastinating and things that slow down the process, but still keep some reflection along the way, and respect for the process. I think my biggest draw back(no pun intended) is using digital to draw, I am happy to do painting on the image that I have already drawn and coloured, but drawing images from scratch still feels odd. I am not sure I want to lose that feeling. Maybe you get used to drawing with the I pad?
