Day 5. Chicken. I thought of many different things but I saw my dog Leo this morning and I knew what I had to draw.

I interpreted Day 05/Chicken as Fear, and chose the begonia which symbolizes dark thoughts.

Inktober 2018 Animals Day 5 Chicken

Chicken. Decided to switch things up a bit and go with ball-point pen, which is more comfortable to me. I'll probably continue to play with different "ink" mediums, but in the spirit of getting things done, I opted for comfort over novelty today.

It's so fun seeing everyone's interpretations of the prompts and all the different styles out there!

Day 6 Drooling. Took me forever to think of a concept. Not too original and digital this time.

For Day 06/Drooling, I chose the hydrangea since the root word means water. Switched it up and used a Pentel brushpen. Goodness, that thing is tricky.
