SVS does Inktober 2018
-
@heather-boyd I'm still watching the old episodes! We're working our way through. I love that sort of programming. Vera is my favourite! Thank you for your kind words about the owl, you're right it does fit in with the English countryside.
-
@jennyjones Thank you! It is a good show to draw to.
-
@miriam But the RULES!!!! Hahaha. I like the anticipation. I feel like it's Christmas. I have been penciling in advance as ideas come to me.
-
@miss-beans This is adorable! I think I need to try the Inktense pencils!
-
A dragon -
@chrisaakins Ha, ha! That's why I mentioned Jake--he made the rules!
But yeah, do it the way that makes you happy! -
As usual I didn't like my day one Inktober but I do like this one for tranquil.
-
@missmushy I love how you tackled the theme of tranquility in anticipation of its escape. Awesome!
-
Thomas had an irrational fear of wide open spaces of shiny floors. He would walk twice as far as needed to avoid the open spaces. Area rugs were his friends.
-
@burvantill I love this
-
Inktober day 3...but really just enjoying some outdoor sketching on our October trip. La Pelosa tower is a small fortification built around 1500 on a small island, close to the Northernmost point of Sardegna:
-
@burvantill Oh no! Im so sorry for your loss!
-
@jon-anderson thanks Jon!
-
Day 3 - Elephants
-
Day 3 of Inktober 2018. King King has a lot of loyal supporters...but who is he?
-
Day 3: Roasted
-
@nessillustration Love this one! Simple and expressive.
-
Here is day 1 & day 2 for me. I love seeing everyone's work & stories behind them.
-
@miriam Thanks! I have inktense pencils and blocks. I used the blocks for this one, they work like watercolour, except once it is down, it stays. The pencils are fun too.
-
For Day 3/Roasted, I have the Narcissus or daffodil representing unrequited love.
Ink washes are very interesting because they donβt lift or disperse like watercolor does. Itβs kind of nerve wracking how permanent my decisions have to be.
