SVS does Inktober 2018

Day 3: Roasted
-
@nessillustration Love this one! Simple and expressive.
-
Here is day 1 & day 2 for me. I love seeing everyone's work & stories behind them.
-
@miriam Thanks! I have inktense pencils and blocks. I used the blocks for this one, they work like watercolour, except once it is down, it stays. The pencils are fun too.
-
For Day 3/Roasted, I have the Narcissus or daffodil representing unrequited love.
Ink washes are very interesting because they donβt lift or disperse like watercolor does. Itβs kind of nerve wracking how permanent my decisions have to be.
-
Day 3 Roasted. I will admit that I cracked myself up with this one.
-
Have my grand baby over today so rushed this one but I did it! Day 3 Roasted - this is how bacon is made

-
@eli thanx!
-
@sas thank youοΈ
-
@artwithashley Very cool work!
-
@heather-boyd lol how's he gonna get those off?
-
Not very creative to kick it off (poison is poisonous - duh) but seeing as how this is my first Inktober, I just wanted to break the ice and get into it. Hoping to advance the drawings as I go and have better back stories to the pieces as well.
-
Day 2 - Tranquil
-
@studiolooong they will melt off and then he licks it off of the ground like he eats everything else. Thanks.
-
@chrisaakins Thank you. I had such a small page, to get all I wanted in was a bit tiny drawing.
-
Day 3: Roasted
-
@robgale bahahahaha!
-
Day 3 - Roasted - got a little impatient this time - one can see, maybe - i realize that i really struggle with shadows and light on this one - and some perspective, too But it was fun
