Drawin' random people's dnd characters is pretty fun. Most of them are kinda boring, but once in a while you get to draw a seagull person professional art thief

 Iβm redoing this one.

@Buddy-Skelton Nice work. I really like the style.

@burvantill Having reached my current goal with my skull practice, I've moved on to the features. On the nose at the moment...

@Braden-Hallett Love this guy. He's so full of character. Well done! I think it's a really impressive character design.

Last night to relax I watched Stephanie Fizer Coleman's newest Skillshare class - Develop Your Style Draw One Illustration Six Ways. So far I've only drawn two ways but it was a nice way to spend an evening:

@ShannonBiondi are you taking a class or working on your own?

Fundamentals - 3D shapes and lighting. I'm really enjoying the control I get with graphite

@NelsonYiap Yes I agree -I don't get the same when I am on digital unfortunately.

I was working on a mouse illustration for what I want to become a portfolio piece but got hung up on the value study and realized I havenβt had fun with drawing or painting for while. So I decided to put that on hold and explore a different rendering style (admittedly Iβve been way too inconsistent in my rendering) and do fan art again. This was fun and I decided to do the other three turtles in a series for Instagram. Still undecided on whether to include them all on the same post or separately.

@Jon-Anderson that's really awesome. Looking forward to seeing the others. I would post them separately and then all together when you are done.

Finally got this finished, thank god! I really struggled with getting the lighting right on this, I wanted it to look like it was later in the day so the sun was low. I know it can really be improved as I'm not 100% happy with it, but I think I need to move on to something else now or I'll go crazy!!! Finished not perfect right?

@hannahmccaffery It looks beautiful, so niceeeeeee

@hannahmccaffery Looks pretty perfect to me! Great job, Hannah!

More shapes but with wash/colour. I have always struggled with shading yellow shadows since its value is so light. Here I've tried warm saturation, warm mixes with orange, cool mixes with green and a combination.

@NelsonYiap This looks like such great practice. Are you doing this along with a class you're taking on SVSLearn, by any chance?

@animatosoor Hello Jake Parker's Light and Shadow, but I was inspired to shade 3D objects from Will's The Magic of Color! Jake Parker's Light and Shadow, but I was inspired to shade 3D objects from Will's The Magic of Color!
