@animatosoor Hello Jake Parker's Light and Shadow, but I was inspired to shade 3D objects from Will's The Magic of Color!
-
@hannahmccaffery Beautiful piece! I really love your colour choices.
-
@Erin-Cortese @animatosoor @MichaelaH Thanks so much
-
@hannahmccaffery I think this looks great and I especially love your textures. I'm still trying to figure out the best method of putting texture in. Did you use textures brushes or texture overlays for this?
The puffins are so much fun!
-
Very nice, it is looking great.
I love the perspective. -
@demotlj Thank you Laurie! I used texture brushes, the Kyle Webster ones you can get with CC now, they're really great and too many to choose from!
I'm still experimenting with applying texture as it's something I've struggled with too. -
Found a bit of work coloring comics for indie creators lately been fun.
-
Playing around with ink and watercolor. I need to get a better camera so that the white balance works out better when photographing traditional art but that will Have to stay on my wish list for now.
-
Really nice on the first animal jet one and also like the action/position in the woman with the guns.
-
Spent day working on t-shirt for hubby - he officially retired today (there goes my quiet time )
-
@MissMushy awesome!
-
A little turtle character. Not much design went into it, just a bit of shy personality.
-
@NelsonYiap Oh he's cute!
-
@NelsonYiap your sketches are adorable -keep on playing with it.
-
Thank you @Kat and @Heather-Boyd

Heyo! So, I've been away for a while, since my littlest was born, eight months ago. Anyways, I here getting into things again. My current project is making a skillshare class, combining two of my hobbies, sewing and illustration. I'll be using Spoonflower (which you can print custom fabrics) and my illustrations to make a cute travel felt play set.
Its taking twice as long as I hoped.
-
Redo of the shy turtle with Gouache. I think I much prefer working with the opacity of it!
-
Worked on a practice editorial illustration (magazine article titled "Morning Routines of Highly successful Women" Also tried to animate as a gif with Procreate which was interesting.
-
This is my submission to the SCBWI monthly Draw This. I also submitted it to the Art Spot for the Bulletin, which was my original goal, that's why its greyscale.
-
I finally finished the last illustration that I started for mermay!
