These are some really great studies! I love how clearly you're able to express the textures of each of the surfaces you were painting. I was thinking of taking a few schoolism classes, particularly the color and light class by Dice Tsutsumi and Robert Kondo.

@burvantill Thank you! Yes it's digital. I did a study with watercolors for the same class and it sucked. Lol.

@Alicja-W Thanks, that's the class these studies are from- the one by Dice and Robert. It is a ton of painting from life! I feel like I'm learning quite a bit though.

Started doing a sketch a day of a famous person/character on Procreate just with values. Crazy how very subtle things can make a huge difference to the recognizability of the face

Bathroom is complete. It was a nightmare and I have many stories to tell. It was truly "Summer Vacation Gone Wrong". Here is my finished work. The tub and tile is the only thing that stayed. Everything else is brand new. Not to bad for a web designer and wanna be illustrator.

And then today I took a few hours to do some fan art. I just love spongebob.

I find myself working on a lot of water themed art this month. It probably has something to do with the obnoxious amounts of rain we've been receiving over here in Ohio. Both of these are just first colors.

It's great to see what everyone else is working on! I need to remember to check these forums more often!

@Chip-Valecek Wow, the bathroom looks amazing! We remodeled ours last year, so I can sympathize with the pain on some level. We still haven't put up our trim.
