I've got a couple of ideas for book idea/story along with the illustrations. What do you normally do in these situations? Can you approach a publisher? Or do you try and get a firm to buy into it and then they pitch it? Or do you just self publish it and try and partner with a marketing company? Just thinking in the next 12 to 24 months that might be something I'd like to pursue doing.

@jdubz start with a written and edited story then make a book dummy. Only THEN start submitting it.

there's a class here on writing children's books. Lots of video time (I'm only a few videos in, they're lengthy!). would give a good starting place for you.
