@Braden-Hallett I'm definitely wayyyyy more aware of different lighting situations and aware that I should be aware Ha ha. Before I would have considered where the light and shadows were, I would have thought about if it was warm or cool (sometimes). So it's definitely a further education for me and arming me with more knowledge and possibilities for future work.

I find myself stopping in public to stare at an object that is being lit nicely to try and put it in a category; hard, soft, ambient, etc. I'm sure I look like I've gone round the bend. šŸ˜‚

It seems to me that rim light tends to bleed around objects, giving them a nice silhouette (at least in the outdoor shots)

I really like rays of light šŸ™‚ I should really use them more often.

@Coley I'm finding it difficult to anticipate exactly how much light needs to bend around the object for the rim lighting if you get what I mean. It seems to go further than it should sometimes L)

@Braden-Hallett yup it's one that needs some extra study and reference, and practice! Pretty cool when it works. I'm finding ambient lighting a little easier because it's so subtle lol
