To learn how to make a comics, I decided to...make a short comic! Since the timing of the completion of it lines up with @Jake-Parker 's recent advice on creating smaller projects, then collecting them into a book or something later, I thought I'd share it here.

I adapted a scene from the Inheritance cycle (Eldest by Chistopher Paolini) into a 14-page comic. Translating a book from just words to visuals and dialogue was a fun challenge. A lot of SVS skills helped me with the scripting, page flow, thumbnails, character design, environment design, inking, and colors, whew! That would actually make a fun SVS class.

Hey, this is super cool. I like what you did with the elf passing in front of the word bubble. Great storytelling device.

I'm a huge fan of doing short comics, glad you're trying it out!

The whole truth in 14 pictures. What could be more fun? I liked it.

Great work! I love the idea of using a scene from a story. This is complete and leaves the reader satisfied, but absolutely wanting to come back to it. Solid panel layout design too.

Nice job! I really appreciate the sequence when the character is fully drawn, but divided by the panels.
