    Hello my friends!

I find this community more and more addictive.
I always check in to see your great feedback! Thanks for taking the time to do that!

This is a commissioned artwork I did earlier this year , of Leon of Pokemon Sword with his Baby Unevolved Pokemon , looking for the next one on his team.
Client liked it, and I am really satisfied with the finished look.I went for a cell shaded ,lineart piece.

I always wondered how this piece would seem to other artists.

    • What do you think of the composition?
    • Do you think the story translates well?
    • I am really thinking of making my childrens book with this style. Do you think it feels good??*

    Thanks!

@Georgios-Christopoulos HI G-Chris. I really like the linework and style. My biggest concern is the busyness of it. I am not sure where to look. The leaves and rocks are just as heavily drawn as the main characters. YOu might want to try to vary your line weight to emphasize the main characters and deemphasize the background and lesser characters. You could also vary the values to achieve the same effect. I would do each character and backgoround in separate layers and use filters to fade some to the back a little more.

Nice style & characters, but I was also going to mention the focal point/busyness of it. Maybe play with ways to emphasize the focal area (leaving the backgrounds un-outlined, muting the colors, simplify the composition?) I like the style though!

@CaroStoltz Hello my friend! Thanks for the feedback!! Business might be an issue, though I tend to like when my image has a lot of information. But the line weight could have been changed in order to give the impression of depth in the Pic. Thanks for taking the time to say your opinion!!

@Georgios-Christopoulos i think your style would be great of a graphic novel or online comic. I could see my kids reading something like this.
