@Calvin-Tony-Shrumpish I think thewe are really good. Depending on what your aim is with your art would change what my opinion would be on what to add or subtract. My only real suggestion is to add more textures, or experiment with different ways of rendering, and maybe add a bit more overlapping in your scenes.

Take my advice as coming from somebody who is learning, so there are better people around here to give you advice. Hope that helps.

Hey the colors and brushwork works so well together with how this kid might feel about candy and its world. haha. Love it. However the "poop" issue is still there I think - and if it's not too inconvenient I would actually go back and reconsider changing the form of the cotton candy. Or to make it even more obvious what it is by showing it wrapped in a plastic box (could for example work well, if the face of the candy would be squeezed because it sits so tight in the packaging)... this is what I mean: (1 -packaged cotton candy) https://www.google.de/url?sa=i&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=images&cd=&cad=rja&uact=8&ved=0ahUKEwjMs6HT8cHTAhUiOpoKHZ-oCswQjRwIBw&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.com%2Fitm%2F3049-Pre-Packaged-Cotton-Candy-Candee-Fluff-%2F200037723387&psig=AFQjCNGBQ3IFkG3f0YlXfLrg_Gmcvhr19Q&ust=1493288056566241 (2 - squeezed window face) https://www.google.de/url?sa=i&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=images&cd=&cad=rja&uact=8&ved=0ahUKEwiwhd3v8cHTAhXpIJoKHZ11CjUQjRwIBw&url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.flickr.com%2Fphotos%2Fjamesrye%2F425429326&psig=AFQjCNGRPN8pBmeG61m2WE6ibnheTR0NCQ&ust=1493288103045345

@K.-W. awesome reference on perspective. Thanks. @NoWayMe thanks for the paint over I get what you mean on the detail on stuff. I sometimes get carried away on pieces. I need to slap my wrist and tell it to stop sometimes.

@smceccarelli Thank you so much for your feedback! Very helpful even if we are in the same boat. I guess choosing a target is something I have to figure out. I graduated with a degree in animation cause I am very interested in working in that field but I found I enjoyed the concept art, world building and illustration part of it more than animating. But living in the middle of the midwest, it's hard to find locals looking for that. So recently I've been considering Children's Books as an option. Got a lot of thinking to do i guess...

@anthemsweet Hey, sure no probs. Within photoshop you can right click on the layer that contains the image. Then from the popup window select duplicate layer. Then at the top of the layers pallete you can change the blending mode in the drop down, I used overlay mode. Then to the right of that same drop down there is an opacity slider, simply slide it to the left to around 50%. Finally merge all layers or flatten. As a final tweak you can adjust the curves, by pressing control plus u, and play with the sliders. I hope this helps. If I can find some time at the weekend I will try to put together some images to share. Hope it helps? Regards, Rob.

So the book that my son and I did together is all done and ready to go. I approved the proof and now I am just waiting to pull the trigger and announce it. Since I am a web designer for my real job, I had to create a promotional site to help drive people to purchase it. I am just about done with that and then I will share. In the meantime here are a few images I did for fun. One the Mario and Five Nights at Freddy's is a 11x14 poster board I did for my sons birthday.

I like them. I'd make the ribbon with the rooster a little wider so it doesn't look like it's chocking his neck.
