I think it is a very good try and there is no shame to give up on it and start something new. Itâs part of the learning process. We try things and throw them đ
But if you find the energy to continue working on it. I would say, try to answer the questions: what is the main subject/character of the artwork? What is the narrative? Is the composition making it clear?
In terms of adding details, my advice is to try to keep things simple (not too many elements), and then collect references for each element so that you can use these references as inspiration/model when drawing the details. Finally, I would advice not to detail all the elements of the drawing, but only the ones that you want the viewer to look at.
An illustration as big as this one is a big endeavour, with many steps and levels. So donât worry if you donât get to the end or if you are not happy with the result. Whatâs important is what youâve learn on the way đ
