This is technically not finished (no color and final touch-up details) but was pretty sure I wouldn't have time to do that stuff until after the due date. Really hoping I get a good grade on story since that is what I'm working on improving. 😉 Happy Easter and spring break everyone!

@GabeRobinson I really love the clear silhouette and color segmentation of this composition. Also the texture of the paper works really well with the style of your figure!

So here is mine. I wanted to go with a more modern castle idea.

I decided to make it a bit like a comic page because that felt like fun! How far would YOU go to protect your N64?

I also changed my march sub based on what they said in the crit that the original griffin drawing was too cool and was distracting from the story i was trying to tell

'IMG_0667.jpeg After recovering the Griffins stolen jewel, Jack took off running and with only moments before capture by the guards he reached the edge of the castle tower and leapt just as the gryphon was swooping by….

Here is mine! I wanted to suggest a story in wich Jack has first rescued the Griffin and now they escape together, I wonder if it comes through

Jack the Pirate makes off with what treasure he can carry. He finds himself cornered by the old crew who are still guarding the tower's hoard. Will his griffin make it in time to save him?

Really nice watercolor Gabe. Love the rich colors and strong silhouettes at the bottom. Good storytelling!
