@Aleksey Sounds like a great idea. I'd suggest allowing the viewer to see inside the pot that's stirring. Then you could have some of the 50 things as floating ingredients in the potion.

If I might; for the meter on the last two lines, would you consider:
"Even quicker than it starts,
May strongest bonds be pulled apart”
just a suggestion
I love the witch character. It's like she's pulled out of out fairy tales...or mayby from some Terry Pratchett novel

@burvantill awww you guys are soo greatt you made me feel better! (Im at work on a Saturday when the trains arent running so I appreciate you all for the messages and upvotes)
The real struggle is gonna be fitting stuff on those back shelves. I might instead do stuff hanging on the wall instead of shelved objects.
