I am really happy you pulled the stream off to the right side and not down the middle. I like these changes of depth.

          Great new composition!

This composition creates a sense of depth. With the cooks "table" of supplies being in the foreground. You also have created a good path for our eye to follow with the stream. A lot is going on, but each thing does a good job of leading us around the piece.

Also, Love the tree wine holder. Hilarious!

I agree with what most are saying. Honestly, the bridge is next to the squirrels, so it is not throwing me off to much. Perhaps removing the railing. Or replacing it with rocks/stepping stones in the river. Just an idea.

@Aleksey Looking great!! Losing the rails on the bridge was a good call, it draws less attention now. My eye wants to roam all over to discover every details!

Such a fun concept and a lovely variety of characters, really looking forward to seeing it colored.

Just a slight crit, It will probably be more obvious to me when it's colored and values are added, but it took me a while to actually realise there was a human on the spit. I wouldn't worry about that until I see the later version though.

Hi @Aleksey , I really, really love this piece. Even though there is a lot going on I think it’s working well so far. I really love your line work as well. One thing I’m curious about is the bird whose beak has pierced through the menu. Does he have bad eyesight thus forcing him to look really closely and then breaking through the menu? If so, maybe you could make him squint his eyes? You could even have his glasses on his head to add a little humor to it? It’s just a small suggestion. I really can’t wait to see this with color! Great work!

@MikeCañas no its more just a big beak joke.

Values! I have a weird way of doing values studies but it works for me when i color.

@Aleksey This turned out really awesome! That chef seems confident. He's done this before...

I wonder how many whole long pigs he needed to perfect his recipe.
