Was playing around and made this illo. I don't consider it to be completely successful but feel it was a good practice project. If anyone wants to share any comments, that'd be very appreciated.
Thanks!

Finished not perfect. My image for the SCBWI Draw This prompt, Dress Up.
You are mistaken Highness. This is not my bedtime. -
I can't remember what week I was on for the creative environmental design thread, or where to even find the posts now lol! But here is a little bit more work on my final project (with characters added in). Still have to do the floor and window/horse and tweak things. I did a separate layer approach for almost every element so I can go back and adjust colors etc. Thinking about doing a shadow layer and then erasing out the lights. Or a light layer and add the shadows. Not sure. might try both as it's all a big expiriment for me right now

It started with the shape...

@burvantill Awesome! I love how this turned out.

Been working on a personal piece. I am a sci-fi kind of guy and after watching Star Trek: First Contact I really wanted to do a bio-robotic character. So I drew up a few concepts found one I liked and I am running with it. Unfortunately my light sketch is.....well....light, so my scanner can't pick it up very well. I have been calling it an "assassin" but the more I have developed the character I have begun to look at it as a "misunderstood robot with a tragic past". The piece shows it awaking after an unknown amount of time has passed. My ultimate plan for the piece is for it to be the final panel in a short comic.

We got a deal, kid?

@RJWoodworth Thankyou!

Next! Lol. Working on the digital sketch/value/color scheme stage of my superstition. I think I'm gonna go monochromatic on this one. More ominous.

@burvantill Didn't quite understand what was going on, then I saw the skull. Ohhh, good stuff!

Hey everyone. Love seeing what you are all working on this month. Here is part of a spread for a christmas story I'm working on today. -
This was on WEIRD tree.

WIP: I misplaced my simplistic watercolour abstract approach in this one which is why my daily has become a 2+ day experiment (with other brushes). I really like my palette except for my crabs -might be better a red orange and then render them similar to everything else. Anyways...

@Braden-Hallett It must be very interesting to live in your brain. Your pictures are always so creative -- I think, "Maybe I'll draw a cow," and Braden thinks, "Maybe I'll draw a cow with a rooster friend dancing together on a rocket ship while eating cheese and playing the banjo."
