Playing around with gradient maps in Photoshop. I quite like the foundation they lay and I can paint right on top of them to save a lot of time.

Luna and the thestral in the forbidden forest. I really like it but it's really really slow gathering likes on Instagram and Facebook so maybe I'm missing something LoL. It feels kinda sucky when that happens but I guess that's part of this whole process of putting oneself out there! So I'm thinking about gratitude and not wallowing lol. I learned some stuff and I like it so there ha Ha Moving on ️

A strength of this one is the texture of the wood. I am very pleased with how that turned out. The rope needs work but overall, it was a good and productive exercise in learning Procreate.

I'm a teacher with an online class, having the students design characters this week. This is an example I gave them. I wanted to show them something way out there from what I think they'll be making. They all draw anime girls with fox ears, wolves, and zombies

I've been doodling around in Black & White the last couple days toying with the idea of spot illustration. Probably more appropriate for Middle Grade, maybe? I'm enjoying this so far--it's a lot faster than the full blown color renderings, that's for sure! Whee!

I was watching the creating characters when I started drawing one of the video’s references. He quickly became a super hero...

I am liking the pencil shading under the ink....must try this more...

I decided that until I am feeling inspired again, I’ll just keep painting the birds in my yard. Maybe my lack of inspiration is due to the weather — this is a true-life painting from this morning’s snow. Will the sun never shine in western NY?

I’ve been playing. I needed a third image to fill in a gap I have on my kitchen wall. The other two images are of some paisley pigs that I bought for my mother before she passed. I wanted something similar but not another pig. I like bears. The first one is okay but I think the second one is the winner.
