Got my first Illustration job for a furniture store. I designed this character based on an actual person who works at the store. He is known as the price slasher.

@MissMushy I hear ya. My art life has come to a stop, too. Nothing going on for me but work (day job) and stress. I was able to join last month's contest prompt because I was able to stay at home, but now I'm back to work it's just a whirlwind again and I haven't drawn a thing in weeks. But I don't think we will have totally lost the skills we gained once we're able to make art again. We still learned what we learned, and I hope that with a little practice (when we're able to again) our skills will come back more quickly than when we were first trying to develop them. Just hang in there, do what needs to be done with the demands in your life. Art will be there when you can come back to it again. And for me too, when I can.

I'll meet ya on the other side of this stressful time, eh? We can draw some stuff

I made a store!! You guys I'm so proud that I launched my store. It's been my dream from like ten years, and there's basically hardly anything in it, but I have learned SO MUCH by finally just TRYING to do it that even if it fails it'll be worth it. And having even just launched it I'll know what to do and be less scared to keep trying new things.

So I'm happy that I launched my store but EVEN happier that I have this healthy emotion of just being proud that I'm going for it instead of afraid of failing connected to it. Which I completely credit to SVS. ️

I was doodling ideas for this month's prompt and I couldn't help but finish out this adorable alligator! I most likely won't use her for the prompt, so I'm sharing her with you all here!
