Hi everyone, new here. I did this to practice a little bit with photoshop, still looking to find my way using brushes and feeling comfortable, hope you like it.

First time sharing...
I’ve been working on trying to draw human characters better...expressions, hands, feet...everything. Lots of studying and redrawing. Here’s my most recent girl...

@Coreyartus dont be too harsh on yourself mate, youre creating beatiful art. A wonderful example to your children! Your children have at least one parent who cares enough about them to worry about the world they have introduced them into, which is more than some. Whilst it may appear chaotic at the minute, it pales into insignificance when compared to what has passed before. Remind your children that they have running water, food and education, and are not subject to ricketts, smallpox, plague, the reformation and that now they dont clean chimneys from the age of 8. And that their parents help build those technical devices they love so much. The world isnt f*cked right now, its better than its ever been! We just have short memories, and high ideals. As is the human way. Peace and love my friend!

Got my first Illustration job for a furniture store. I designed this character based on an actual person who works at the store. He is known as the price slasher.

@MissMushy I hear ya. My art life has come to a stop, too. Nothing going on for me but work (day job) and stress. I was able to join last month's contest prompt because I was able to stay at home, but now I'm back to work it's just a whirlwind again and I haven't drawn a thing in weeks. But I don't think we will have totally lost the skills we gained once we're able to make art again. We still learned what we learned, and I hope that with a little practice (when we're able to again) our skills will come back more quickly than when we were first trying to develop them. Just hang in there, do what needs to be done with the demands in your life. Art will be there when you can come back to it again. And for me too, when I can.
I'll meet ya on the other side of this stressful time, eh? We can draw some stuff

Airships would wait for hours under the full moon for the Sky Whale to make its grand appearance. And every time, it was well worth the wait!
-
@burvantill this is amazing! Can’t wait to see it finished

I’m finally done picking at this one. Finished not perfect and moving on. -
I made a store!! You guys I'm so proud that I launched my store. It's been my dream from like ten years, and there's basically hardly anything in it, but I have learned SO MUCH by finally just TRYING to do it that even if it fails it'll be worth it. And having even just launched it I'll know what to do and be less scared to keep trying new things.
So I'm happy that I launched my store but EVEN happier that I have this healthy emotion of just being proud that I'm going for it instead of afraid of failing connected to it. Which I completely credit to SVS.

I can't remember why he's sorting guinea pigs. But he's bored of sorting guinea pigs.

I was doodling ideas for this month's prompt and I couldn't help but finish out this adorable alligator! I most likely won't use her for the prompt, so I'm sharing her with you all here!
